Concrete Canvas Installation

Concrete canvas installation begins with a 3-dimensional matrix containing a specially formulated dry concrete mixture. A PVC backing on one surface of the concrete canvas ensures the material is completely waterproof. Concrete canvas can be hydrated either by spraying or by being fully immersed in water. Once set, the fibers strengthen the concrete, preventing crack propagation and providing a safe plastic failure mode.

While applications for concrete canvas can vary depending on location and project requirements, scheduling a consultation with us will ensure the right product for your job specifications.

Concrete canvas is available in three (3) thicknesses: CC5™, CC8™, and CC13™, which are 5mm, 8mm, and 13mm thick, respectively.

Rapid Installation

Concrete canvas can be laid at a rate of 200m2/hour, up to 10 times faster than conventional concrete solutions.

Economical

The speed and ease of installation means concrete canvas is more cost-effective than traditional concrete, and with less logistical burden. For example, one single truck of concrete canvas replaces 34 17T mixer trucks!

Minimal Maintenance for Maximum Performance

Concrete canvas installation provides excellent weed suppression, preventing the growth of root growing vegetation that can cause the majority of blockages and restricted flow in channels. Concrete canvas also effectively encapsulates a channel’s profile, reducing or eliminating silt generation and maintaining the hydraulic capacity of the channel.
